When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Basílio Silveira took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Angelo Baciadonne to make any attempt to save it. 37 minutes into the game, Florin Ciuvică cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Diamantino Lobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Diamantino Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Dumitrescu in the 42nd minute of play. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilie Dumitrescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
