The crowd rose to their feet as Edin Džeko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agustin Orion. That made the score 7-1 in the 53 minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Modestio came free, but José Pedro de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicolas Segundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amboy FC's Mario Alberto Abascal was substituted for Anastasio Hever. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 65th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper José Pedro de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Benê Cabral. José Pedro de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Amboy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
