But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Golden Lions FC's Sixten Dahlgren threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Loco Durazno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Loco Durazno scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Dahlgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco Durazno kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Frogner getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Allan Kilstedt hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Tönnberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Dahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lange in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loco Durazno made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Loco Durazno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sixten Dahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loco Durazno took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixten Dahlgren. Sixten Dahlgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sixten Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Durazno's shot from short distance in the 65th minute.
