Damian Massana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candelario Vinyals went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute Tin Santamaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Alvaredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kléber Pineros fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANTERANOS DMS's protests and gave Kléber Pineros a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tin Santamaria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Massana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ormaechea in the 54th minute of play. Vitor Paz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Damian Massana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicente Leon. Candelario Vinyals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Damian Massana made a huge save. Candelario Vinyals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Xamo Angeles threw the ball into play from the sideline. CANTERANOS DMS's Rafael Quizan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Inestrosa in the 66th minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Damian Massana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Massana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candelario Vinyals's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Leon's Rodolfo Ormaechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Massana. That made the score 0-5 after 68 minutes of play. Damian Massana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Ormaechea in the 72nd minute of the match. Rodolfo Ormaechea struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Damian Massana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. CANTERANOS DMS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Ormaechea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Rodolfo Ormaechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Damian Massana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CANTERANOS DMS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ortíz Relloso hit a great ball. CANTERANOS DMS's Rafael Quizan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Balmaceda, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Vicente Leon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
