Loco Durazno scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Alvaredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 30th minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Eugenio Alvaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodolfo Ormaechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Vicente Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Eugenio Alvaredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Durazno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Alvaredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Durazno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Alvaredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Loco Durazno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 52nd minute. Eugenio Alvaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Nyström got free with Eugenio Alvaredo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Ormaechea came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Alvaredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Vicente Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Eugenio Alvaredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo got control of the ball when Arne Tönnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Cosme Larpe got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eugenio Alvaredo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
