An unexpectedly hard shot by Tin Delgado in the 13th minute of play forced Frogner's goalkeeper Sixten Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 41st minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Diego Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Stigsson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Stigsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Cannavaro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Diego Müller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Dahlgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Frogner booed when CANTERANOS DMS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Gandulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. CANTERANOS DMS's Diego Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CANTERANOS DMS from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute of the match Frogner got a corner. CANTERANOS DMS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Hallgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frogner's Östen Gunnarsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diego Kahn made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Östen Gunnarsson sent off a good shot on target. Helge Melin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Allan Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östen Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of CANTERANOS DMS booed when Frogner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball.
