Gelu Balotă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Sebes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Sebes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Martins was a little too slow when Sidnei Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kunter Irmak in the 52nd minute of the match. Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Grigore made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kunter Irmak. 58 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Kunter Irmak came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Sebes in the 62nd minute of play forced DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Gelu Balotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Levandowsky got free with Gelu Balotă in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Levandowsky who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Gelu Balotă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. DINAMO PLOIESTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Caetano Levandowsky scored to the left of an out of position Gelu Balotă, making the score, 2-2. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Ianis Hagi was substituted for Niculae Geangu. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Dragan in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Donato came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Balotă got control of the ball when Caetano Levandowsky tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Hoberg United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hoberg United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
