Kunter Irmak made a great header on DINAMO PLOIESTI's corner, it was just that FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 6thth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Zberea. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC BaLiSt from getting a goal against them. Grigore Zberea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gelu Balotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Grigore Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC BaLiSt from getting a goal against them. It was a well-played corner which Valer Cioculescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brun O'Down made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when George Bălanescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 42ndth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gelu Balotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Cresenciano in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, George Bălanescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DINAMO PLOIESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Bălanescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When DINAMO PLOIESTI's George Bălanescu in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BaLiSt's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caetano Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kunter Irmak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Kunter Irmak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Kunter Irmak came free, but Brun O'Down reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunter Irmak in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to DINAMO PLOIESTI getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Valer Cioculescu hit a great ball. DINAMO PLOIESTI made a substitution. Claudiu Dragan replaced Kunter Irmak. In the 59th match minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Dragan to maneuver through the defense. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Bălanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihăiţă Șeicaru hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. FC BaLiSt's Silviu Cigu was substituted for Mihăiţă Șeicaru. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Mihăiţă Șeicaru got a free kick in the 68th minute. Brun O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Bratu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Claudiu Dragan got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Niculae Geangu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gelu Balotă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Messias's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute George Bălanescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brun O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Dragan in the 82nd minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Brun O'Down to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brun O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Bălanescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gelu Balotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Olteanu in the 90th minute of the match. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Bratu in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Albescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu was substituted for Aron Olteanu. In the 95th minute, Costel Albescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC BaLiSt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
