Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugen Braniște, made in the 6th minute of the game. Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cintya Palacios in the 8th minute of play. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Olteanu in the 14th minute of play. Hoberg United's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Nanu in the 15th minute of play. FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu managed to work through Hoberg United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Traian Nanu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The corner led Hoberg United's Danny Grønnow to fire away a dangerous shot which Brun O'Down despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Balázs Sebes took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brun O'Down. Brun O'Down dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BaLiSt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danny Grønnow was slow to take the kick. During this time Hoberg United's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC BaLiSt's goalie and right to Claudio-Paul Pirinchev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC BaLiSt's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hoberg United's Dida Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. When FC BaLiSt's Laureano Cresenciano in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dida Martins made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Traian Nanu sent off a good shot on target. When Grigore Zberea came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigore Zberea couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Aron Olteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Martins made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Traian Nanu sent off a good shot on target. The FC BaLiSt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hoberg United were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Cresenciano was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Eugen Braniște in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Sebes in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Hoberg United's Brun O'Down threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Balázs Sebes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Laureano Cresenciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Martins was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Zberea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC BaLiSt's zone, Cintya Palacios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brun O'Down came out of the goal and Cintya Palacios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balázs Sebes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Brun O'Down made a huge save. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Eugen Braniște got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aron Olteanu. The corner led Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios to a score. 0-2 in the 75th minute. Hoberg United made a substitution. Paw Heedal replaced Balázs Sebes. Hoberg United's attentive Claudio-Paul Pirinchev managed to snatch the ball when Claudiu Cârțan made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Zberea came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hoberg United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hoberg United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
