The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Deportivo Tachito's Elias Selatse got control of the ball when Ismael Roldanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Roldanillo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Maurice Himschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachito's goalkeeper Elias Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Čerina. 15 minutes into the game, Belmiro Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maurice Himschoot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elias Selatse made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Teodor Čerina sent off a good shot on target. Elias Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lun Majstorović's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Velislav Skenderski charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Velislav Skenderski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Velislav Skenderski. Elias Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Roldanillo in the 31st minute of play. Elias Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Gomez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Deportivo Tachito's Fazil Gøl was substituted for Belmiro Arruda. 38 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Tachito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Damario in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurice Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the NK FOLKROLA defense, Bartolo Damario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Himschoot. The NK FOLKROLA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Himschoot should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bartolo Damario made the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Tachito were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after NK FOLKROLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fazil Gøl took the corner. The corner led Deportivo Tachito's Hermengildo Tuste to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurice Himschoot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maurice Himschoot came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Tachito's Bartolo Damario. But to his dismay, Bartolo Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachito's Gartzen Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurice Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Elias Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Roldanillo in the 73rd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, NK FOLKROLA's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Hustaz came free, but Maurice Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fabio Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Tachito's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurice Himschoot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabio Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
