The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Sampaio. Cipriano Sustrai struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rômulo Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ. When Hulk Zaracho came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hulk Zaracho couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Mattos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MUSHIBA FC's zone, Petter Bivall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Souto came out of the goal and Petter Bivall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Sustrai scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rômulo Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cipriano Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Zaracho in the 27th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Cipriano Sustrai made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Cacá Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulk Zaracho in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rômulo Souto saved MUSHIBA FC from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Hulk Zaracho in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rômulo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Arnaldo Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUSHIBA FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Gil Meira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. José Maria Figueiredo replaced Régis Sampaio. In the 48th minute, Claudinho Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Juan de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Loyola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gil Meira made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, José Maria Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gero Mitov, made in the 58th minute of the game. When Bazar Alegria E.C. Rômulo Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Vergílio in the 64th minute of the match. Cipriano Sustrai in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rômulo Souto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Hulk Zaracho in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MUSHIBA FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, Cipriano Sustrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MUSHIBA FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Cipriano Sustrai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MUSHIBA FC.
