A very good chance for a goal. In the 4th minute Severino Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Genko Balevski came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genko Balevski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sílvio Dantas hit a great ball. The corner ended in Juan de Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor did a great save. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Meira in the 16th minute of play. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Anselmo Neiva put in a rough tackle. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. Genko Balevski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rômulo Souto. 1-0. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save MUSHIBA FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Arnaldo Mattos got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Hulk Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulk Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 minutes, Régis Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Fenomeno in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genko Balevski made a kick off. Rômulo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Marquez in the 54th minute of play. If Hulk Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Sílvio Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernandinho Botelho, made in the 61st minute of the game. Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Marquez in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Cacá Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wágner Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUSHIBA FC the free kick. After 70 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Botelho. 72 minutes into the game, Beto Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUSHIBA FC the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were furious when Valério Queirós was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 75 minutes into the game, one of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raí Nogueira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Marquez in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Amor saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. Severino Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Severino Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
