The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anaia Barba to strike the kick off in the second half. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Cipriano Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's zone, Edson Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weverton Everson came out of the goal and Edson Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Recife in the 61st minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Weverton Everson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Tavares made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cipriano Sustrai sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Hulk Zaracho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Hulk Zaracho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weverton Everson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Lara in the 85th minute of play. Cipriano Sustrai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Guga Tavares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Zaracho in the 93rd minute of play.
