Club Atlético Temperley were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after MUSHIBA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Pitin took the corner. Club Atlético Temperley's Rolando Lopez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rômulo Souto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute Joel Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Lopez in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Orlando Cordarell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21stth minute of the game Rolando Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the MUSHIBA FC defense, Joel Pitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Souto. The MUSHIBA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Souto should have stopped the shot. Hermengildo Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rômulo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Lopez in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rômulo Souto saved MUSHIBA FC from getting behind. In the 27thth minute of the game Rolando Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaston Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Souto having to interfere. Sebestyén Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gil Meira sent off a good shot on target. MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebestyén Mészáros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Lopez came free, but Rômulo Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Lopez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Lopez in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Cristiano Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Rômulo Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Club Atlético Temperley were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Meira was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Lopez could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Rômulo Souto however easily saved by the left post. With 57 minutes on the clock, Didi Meira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MUSHIBA FC! In the 61st minute, Orlando Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-4 became the score in the 67th minute when Cristiano Correia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Cristiano Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Temperley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Rômulo Souto was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Orlando Cordarell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Cordarell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Rômulo Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Raymon in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Cacá Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Lopez could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Rômulo Souto however easily saved by the left post. After 86 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Mattos. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Temperley's Marco Villerias got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Severino Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
