After 30 minutes BURITIS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godofredo Romelio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Godofredo Romelio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Francho in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Unai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Altay Ulgu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gil Paulista sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Francho came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Godoy in the 45th minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BURITIS FC defense, Saul Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Unai. The BURITIS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Unai should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Boy to make the kick off. BURITIS FC's Vito da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SimuV3 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Melquiades Bartolome hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes SimuV3 got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Silvanito. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Paulista in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altay Ulgu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 69 minutes, Gil Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BURITIS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They were angered to see BURITIS FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
