The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s Timoteo Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 曾瑜亦 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ekzema F.V. were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Bloodthirsty FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paul Birkendahl took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Paul Birkendahl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 曾瑜亦 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Bloodthirsty FC's zone, Luisinho Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 曾瑜亦 came out of the goal and Luisinho Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 曾瑜亦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Mangueira in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Vitório Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximenez Cayuso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sakarias Ahlroth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Estevez in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 曾瑜亦 saved Bloodthirsty FC from getting behind. Bloodthirsty FC's 曾瑜亦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Birkendahl in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Bloodthirsty FC defense, Paul Birkendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 曾瑜亦. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 曾瑜亦 should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Fredriksson got free with Ximenez Cayuso in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vincent Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Cayuso having to interfere. Timoteo Estevez struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. 曾瑜亦 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekzema F.V.. Ekzema F.V.'s Percy Velasco was substituted for Luisinho Toscano. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sakarias Ahlroth to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 曾瑜亦 was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lisandro Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bloodthirsty FC's 曾瑜亦 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bloodthirsty FC from getting a goal against them. Håkan Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Cayuso having to interfere. In the 70th minute Vitório Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曾瑜亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Lidström's late challenge caught a Ekzema F.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Lidström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Lidström to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Rafa Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曾瑜亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Elliott Bennet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bloodthirsty FC's Ivan Kleen was substituted for Edvin Kullander. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Bennet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lisandro Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Percy Velasco.
