Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfrid Haström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Berggren in the 34th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jarrod Leary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jarrod Leary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Berggren in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Sydney Trujillo got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gottfrid Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Hood kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jarrod Leary made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tommy Sundberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Sol Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
