Artur Malewicz made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sten Andrejević sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes Club Atlético Unión's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dean Harvey who took care of the corner kick. In the 18thth minute of the game Sten Andrejević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Unión's Artur Malewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Sten Andrejević put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Artur Malewicz. 27 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Unión's Shi Qian Peng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Andrejević in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Malewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Club Atlético Unión's Artur Malewicz got control of the ball when Sten Andrejević tried to sneak it across the goal line.
