The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Jan-Kenneth Heistad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Frode Tobiassen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrille Jenny in the 64th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Jenny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leif Opdal was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 68 minutes of play, Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leif Opdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyrille Jenny who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Leif Opdal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leif Opdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Jenny in the 85th minute of the match. If Cyrille Jenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cyrille Jenny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leif Opdal made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cyrille Jenny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tours Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyrille Jenny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Opdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tours Football Club played a much better game than Brufoss IL and deserved their victory. The Brufoss IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
