An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 17th minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Freddie de Nooijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franky Dhondt might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddie de Nooijer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franky Dhondt ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddie de Nooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhondt in the 18th minute of the match. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Töpper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie de Nooijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Franky Dhondt struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Freddie de Nooijer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Macedonio Fonticoba made the kick off in the second half. Bennvar Back took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddie de Nooijer. Freddie de Nooijer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Ferrer. Delmiro Ferrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Vitaliy Vischak made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Feliberto Pueblo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Thomas Verheydt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vitaliy Vischak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddie de Nooijer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennvar Back went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vampiros Aztecas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
