The crowd rose to their feet as SK Fenerbahce Wien's Xie Sheng Qi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reinaldo Travassos. That made the score 1-2 after 73 minutes of play. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Eike Hörtnagel was substituted for Alexandros Matsinopoulos. Reinaldo Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eike Hörtnagel in the 79th minute. Chris Draxl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Parlapidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Reinaldo Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eike Hörtnagel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
