Mora Liebana struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lew Yashin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALO S.C.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mora Liebana got free with Lew Yashin in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mora Liebana might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lew Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mora Liebana ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Mora Liebana came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Barry McCray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
