The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Gitano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Víctor Cuesta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MONTANHA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 崔光笑 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Narbut in the 11th minute of play. MONTANHA's Jens Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Boruta in the 12th minute of play. Jens Mikaelsson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Michael Owen sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Konstanty Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Mikaelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Montserrat were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after MONTANHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Segundo Belarmo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atlético Montserrat's corner Konstanty Galagan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens Mikaelsson quite easily take care of the ball. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Narbut in the 24th minute of play. Jesus Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Guang Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Robert Boruta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Mikaelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Segundo Belarmo made a great header on Atlético Montserrat's corner, it was just that MONTANHA's Jens Mikaelsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Wei Guang Xing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wei Guang Xing kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Owen got free with Jens Mikaelsson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when MONTANHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Mikaelsson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Robert Boruta sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Atlético Montserrat made a substitution. Zula Jajesniak replaced 崔光笑. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Boruta to strike the kick off in the second half. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke got control of the ball when Czeslaw Walec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens Mikaelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Boruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomir Narbut hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Anastasio Rito got a free kick in the 67th minute. Robert Boruta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Radomir Narbut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONTANHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Narbut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Guang Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the MONTANHA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Montserrat.
