The referee showed Marciano Caton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atlético Escocia's Marciano Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Escocia's zone, Gilberto Stovall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri came out of the goal and Gilberto Stovall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes in the game, Rolland Hobbs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Gagriel in the 19th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Anastasio Gagriel. But to his dismay, Anastasio Gagriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amir Lee in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldo Renteria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a huge save. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Hobbs in the 26th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 33rd minute of play. Allen Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a huge save. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Joyner, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Rolland Hobbs put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. 47 minutes in the game, Claude Joyner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amir Lee sped through Club Atlético Escocia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Hobbs in the 55th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldo Renteria in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Stovall to maneuver through the defense. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Caton in the 61st minute. Marciano Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Rolland Hobbs came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Tello hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Lee in the 67th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Lee's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Cascade Park West's Amir Lee in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Cascade Park West fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Escocia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dexter Benton was slow to take the kick. During this time Cascade Park West's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cascade Park West's corner Dexter Benton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Oroitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Lee in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri saved Club Atlético Escocia from getting behind.
