Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Hurdinosa in the 25th minute of play. Dinei Pinheiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Leif Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzaiver Lorenzo having to interfere. Xzaiver Lorenzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola in the 44th minute of play. Daniel Montenegro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves 王桑辰 could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Dinei Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zuzen Arroniz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzaiver Lorenzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xzaiver Lorenzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Casado in the 57th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Zorion Oña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niilo Mikkola to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Törnqvist in the 89th minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Xzaiver Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Niilo Mikkola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xzaiver Lorenzo. That made the score 3-2 in the 90 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 94th minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Xzaiver Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zorion Oña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SeleSantos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato had won, even though SeleSantos FC had held more of the ball.
