When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nechifor Isbășoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Isbășoiu got free with Remigiusz Paciuszko in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Makarewicz couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benson Beverley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Nóbrega having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's Jorginho Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Nóbrega narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
