Martin Theodore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervásio Severiano went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Arnaldo Idacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match CAM Football Club got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernabe Llorienzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Arnaldo Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAM Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Idacio in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, CAM Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arthur Guerra hit a great ball. If Arnaldo Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 57th minute Arnaldo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Braga came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin Theodore could save by the left post. VB-Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Braga in the 59th minute. VB-Team's Luís Braga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Theodore in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CAM Football Club's Jonatan Neto was substituted for Mateo Hustaz. CAM Football Club made a substitution. Teofilo Kelemen replaced Arnaldo Idacio. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Kelemen in the 79th minute of play. Martin Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Braga in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros.
