The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Gullegem's goalie prevented a goal. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Xavier Goossenss short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Juan Morata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the SK Gullegem defense, Martin Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urmas Känsäkangas should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, GERLIROJO Ψ's Juan Morata got control of the ball when Mathias-Alexander Jamieson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax. But to his dismay, Martin Jax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Scigan to maneuver through the defense. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Jax in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Känsäkangas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Scigan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urmas Känsäkangas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Jax made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urmas Känsäkangas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after SK Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Ferrer took the corner. The corner led to GERLIROJO Ψ's Aquilino Ihintza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Xavier Goossens came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Goossens couldn't finish the play. Martin Jaxs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Urmas Känsäkangas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute GERLIROJO Ψ were awarded a corner. Elvio Ferrer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GERLIROJO Ψ's Isidro Larra to fire away a dangerous shot which Urmas Känsäkangas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Gullegem's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elvio Ferrer was slow to take the kick. During this time GERLIROJO Ψ's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ermegildo Chap managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 63rd match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Goossens to maneuver through the defense. GERLIROJO Ψ's Juan Morata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Goossens in the 66th minute of play. Martin Jax received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urmas Känsäkangas came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Jax slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Vaklin Dzhevov. The crowd rose to their feet as Epifanio Ibañez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urmas Känsäkangas. That made the score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Atarratze came free, but Juan Morata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, one of SK Gullegem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. GERLIROJO Ψ played a much better game than SK Gullegem and deserved their victory. The SK Gullegem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
