Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilberto Izel started the match with the kick off. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Goossens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Goossens in the 5th minute of the match. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Goossens in the 9th minute of play. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 14th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Gullegem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Gilberto Izel scored to the left of an out of position Urmas Känsäkangas, making the score, 1-0. Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urmas Känsäkangas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Gullegem's zone, Gilberto Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Känsäkangas came out of the goal and Gilberto Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match La Scaloneta got a corner. SK Gullegem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eneko Vallines ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Enrique Rozarius to score against Urmas Känsäkangas in SK Gullegem's goal. 2-0 after 43 minutes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Atarratze. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute La Scaloneta were awarded a corner. Eneko Vallines went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilberto Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Izel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urmas Känsäkangas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacky Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eneko Vallines took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jacky Jamieson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Gilberto Izel made a precise shot to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 74 minutes into the game, Gilberto Izel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Urmas Känsäkangas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Blandi to maneuver through the defense. Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Goossens, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Nicolás Blandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Leandro Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Mazuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SK Gullegem's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because La Scaloneta had won, even though SK Gullegem had held more of the ball.
