Aldo Hawk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 11th minute of play forced Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atlético Patoruzu fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Atlético Patoruzu's Gualterio Aguirre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Wiley Boyle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Valentin Porfiro to make any attempt to save it. Valentim Leão in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valentin Porfiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valentim Leão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Valentin Porfiro 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Gilberto Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cidro to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Valentin Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentim Leão. Atlético Patoruzu's Moreno Torricelli got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Porfiro came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Patoruzu's Valentim Leão. But to his dismay, Valentim Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Izel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 57th minute of play forced Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Hawk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Cidro. In the 59th minute Gualterio Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Hawk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Hawk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Wiley Boyle came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Patoruzu's Aldo Hawk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 70th minute of play. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético Patoruzu's Aldo Hawk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Patoruzu from getting a goal against them. La Scaloneta's Valentin Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Aguirre in the 76th minute of play. When Dom Bosch fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Patoruzu's protests and gave Dom Bosch a yellow card for diving instead. Dom Bosch kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo-Luis Butcher came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Vinícius Junior got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
