Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdomiro de Godoi got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henk Jonckers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Sundström. KV Schoonwater's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when André Sundström scored to the left of an out of position Henk Jonckers, making the score, 2-0. Valdomiro de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Henk Jonckers made a huge save. Romando Futebol Clube's Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sem Roekeloos in the 19th minute of play. Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Valdomiro de Godoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henk Jonckers, 3-0. If Alek De Hondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pino Van Hinnendaels to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when André Sundström came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romando Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juninho Paulista in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Niva Bellido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henk Jonckers was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Pino Van Hinnendaels sent off a good shot on target. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Valle in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Bernt Tielemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Schoonwater and the Romando Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KV Schoonwater's Bernt Tielemans got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Henk Jonckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Bellido, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Romando Futebol Clube's Joélson de Mendonça quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernt Tielemans, made in the 87th minute of the game. Henk Jonckers came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido. But to his dismay, Niva Bellido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 93 minutes, Niva Bellido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romando Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niva Bellido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juninho Paulista hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Romando Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while KV Schoonwater had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
