George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Jian Bo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jiang Ang Xiao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Melberg made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Di Röe's Sten Melberg made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhuo Xu Xi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 55 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Songur Yiğithan. Songur Yiğithan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Xing Lang in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Sten Melberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Zhuo Xu Xi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute of the game Ye made a throw-in which Jiang Ang Xiao played forward. A collision led to Di Röe getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jens Åkerman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Liang in the 68th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhuo Xu Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Olsson in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Olsson came free, but Zhuo Xu Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ren Ming Song didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Zhuo Xu Xi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Benett. The Di Röe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Di Röe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
