Sten Melberg struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Artur Sterckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. In the 14th minute Axell De Ketelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Melberg got free with Artur Sterckmans in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sten Melberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Artur Sterckmans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axell De Ketelaere in the 33rd minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Di Röe's Sten Melberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Sterckmans. That made the score 5-0 after 48 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Melberg to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Schooters to maneuver through the defense. Sten Melberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Sterckmans. Artur Sterckmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 58th minute, Sten Melberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Di Röe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Sten Melberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Di Röe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Melberg couldn't finish the play. Artur Sterckmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KV Schoonwater's Artur Sterckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Benett in the 86th minute of play. Artur Sterckmans came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Romeo Gologan. But to his dismay, Romeo Gologan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Sven-Arne Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Sterckmans. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Sterckmans should have stopped the shot. Herman Benett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
