Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Hats in the 22nd minute of the match. Lucio Stanislao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Salvador Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Oltean hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th of the match, Basarab Irod tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Santos Orlan got in the way and made a wonderful save. Academia Rio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucian Petriceanu in the 37th minute. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Academia Rio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Fortín de Floresta were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorel Nedelciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Dorel Nedelciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea got control of the ball when Salvador Hats tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Salvador Hats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Fortín de Floresta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
