A beautiful save bye El Fortín de Floresta's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu got control of the ball when Flavio Luar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Luar got free with Raimundo Feliu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Orlan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Argentino's Pastor Nofre. But to his dismay, Pastor Nofre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute David Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Piarres in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, David Piarres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Orlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Raimundo Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Hats in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Atlético Argentino were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Hats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Luar in the 51st minute of the match. Raimundo Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Josemir Lujambio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 68 minutes of play, Atlético Argentino's J.J Huge made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Lauras Pukelevičius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fortín de Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Argentino the free kick. Lauras Pukelevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Floresta's Fulgencio Frances got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Atlético Argentino booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eufemio Yabbarov came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Atlético Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eufemio Yabbarov couldn't finish the play.
