In the 24th minute Marciano Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Floresta's Casimiro Policarpio got a free kick in the 47th minute. Venancio Calisto struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Santos Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
