With an all-out effort, El retorno del Pincha's Patric Isaksson threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Lope, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Di Marinho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Zonta. André Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Nariman Mansourian came free, but André Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El retorno del Pincha were furious when Ernesto Tristezza was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 24 minutes into the game, one of El retorno del Pincha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Agustín Tastzian put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of André Zonta. When Justino Raymundo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El retorno del Pincha's protests and gave Justino Raymundo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El retorno del Pincha's Justino Raymundo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Agustín Tastzian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Patric Isaksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. El retorno del Pincha's Ulises Crispo managed to work through Barrenta SC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ulises Crispo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

The wind increased when Agustín Tastzian made the kick off in the second half. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Crispo in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper André Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Di Marinho. Di Marinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but André Zonta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Patric Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Crispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. André Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Fellipe Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, El retorno del Pincha's André Zonta got control of the ball when Di Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Zonta made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Di Marinho sent off a good shot on target. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Birchall in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Tastzian came free, but André Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Crispo in the 86th minute of the match. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Marcelinho Ramalho replaced Valdemar de Lima. Abelardo Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Isaksson having to interfere. Patric Isaksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Crispo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Ulises Crispo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patric Isaksson. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Isaksson should have stopped the shot. Barrenta SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
