RIVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urban Stenman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 95th minute, RIVER's Niki Lauda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patric Isaksson. Patric Isaksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Barrenta SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing RIVER to leave the ground with a draw.
