A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Candido Lavalle hit a great ball. Wu Li Zhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Lavalle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Lauda, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. RIVER were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingo Remigio took the corner. The corner ended in Eric Târban almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle did a great save. In the 10th minute, Wu Li Zhi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Oxarra in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Niki Lauda managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Niki Lauda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Lavalle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Serafino Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Li Zhi got free with Ramon Lavalle in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Lordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Lavalle's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Wu Li Zhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When RIVER's Niki Lauda in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie prevented a goal. Ramon Lavalle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Li Zhi in the 33rd minute. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wu Li Zhi 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. RIVER made a substitution. Fidel Gora replaced Bruno Oxarra. 38 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Lavalle came free, but Marcial Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Jeremias Lavalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tobias Belmiro hit a great ball. Tobias Belmiro lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Tobias Belmiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Candido Lavalle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Lordi. RIVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremias Lavalle's late challenge caught a RIVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Lavalle helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremias Lavalle hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niki Lauda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niki Lauda got in the 52nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ramon Lavalle handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Lauda came free, but Ramon Lavalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Lavalle. In the 60th minute, Candido Lavalle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE defense, Eric Târban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Lavalle. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Lavalle should have stopped the shot. Fidel Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Lavalle in the 74th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wu Li Zhi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. RIVER's Rosendo Osorio was substituted for Marco Rudolfo. In the 76th minute, Wu Li Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Lavalle in the 81st minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Marcial Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, RIVER's Marcial Lordi got control of the ball when Haroldo Lavalle tried to sneak it across the goal line. When RIVER's Eric Târban in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. Tomas Lavalle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Marcial Lordi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Giovanni Lenhardt got a free kick in the 97th minute. RIVER's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
