The supporters of El retorno del Pincha booed when Monky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. El retorno del Pincha's André Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save El retorno del Pincha from getting a goal against them. Felipe Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lope came free, but Felipe Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Armando Inautzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monky FC's Felipe Tajo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Mannuel in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Zonta saved El retorno del Pincha from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Sven Thorsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Tajo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to El retorno del Pincha getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ulises Crispo hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Monky FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El retorno del Pincha:s goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El retorno del Pincha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
