Di Marinho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Felipe Tajo 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Tastzian got free with Felipe Tajo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Di Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Felipe Tajo made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Patric Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustín Tastzian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Patric Isaksson managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Monky FC's Patricio Mannuel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nuno Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Agustín Tastzian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Tajo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
