The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zé Carlos Madureira hit a great ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Cristiano Messias in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Téo Matorin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Semail Ilıca, made in the 8th minute of the game. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Cristiano Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özgür Özbays short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Cristiano Messias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Özgür Özbay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Cristiano Messias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LOI were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan took the corner. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Téo Matorin hit a great ball. Sulo Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cristiano Messias made a huge save. If Igor Milko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heintje Koehler made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vahit Ergüç immediately put the ball in play. Habib Durukan made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Soin Buisan. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Özgür Özbay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristiano Messias. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play.

Heintje Koehler got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brandon Norton. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Soin Buisan hit a great ball. The supporters of LOI booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soin Buisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Zé Carlos Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cristiano Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Messias. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sulo Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nico Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. LOI made a substitution. Kerimhan Cevher replaced Sulo Montaña. Nico Alvarenga hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Dagoberto Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Buturugã. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 88th minute, Dagoberto Moraes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of George Buturugã, passed just outside the right post. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. George Buturugã came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Zé Carlos Madureira. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
