Isaias Erroman might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Lage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Polyák, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Pál Polyák kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Lauren. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Lauren should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute of the match SITIO CITY got a corner. Deportivo Balvanera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubim Jordão ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rubim Jordão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Omar Lauren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SITIO CITY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
