Jozef Hemeleers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Goodman in the 4th minute of the match. When Big Hulk fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winksele 2016's protests and gave Big Hulk a yellow card for diving instead. Winksele 2016's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Saul Goodman scored to the left of an out of position Jozef Hemeleers, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Goodman in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jozef Hemeleers saved Winksele 2016 from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jozef Hemeleers. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Saul Goodman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jozef Hemeleers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Verde FC. Saul Goodman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jozef Hemeleers came out and tried to block the shot, but Saul Goodman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. Saul Goodman in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jozef Hemeleers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 31 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Jozef Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Quirin Brauer hit a great ball. Saul Goodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jozef Hemeleers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Goodman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Jozef Hemeleers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Villa Verde FC were awarded a corner. Erivaldo Borges went to the cornerflag to take it. Jozef Hemeleers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Goodman in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A throw-in in the 50th minute of the game was made by Fan Tian Hong with Tommie Verhengen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele 2016's zone, Saul Goodman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jozef Hemeleers came out of the goal and Saul Goodman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylven Van Der Meeren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Feng Chao Wei made a huge save. With a little luck, Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei got control of the ball when Jules Van Den Broeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jozef Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Goodman in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense was substituted for Saul Goodman. Villa Verde FC's Alexsandro Garcia was substituted for Wesley Basso. Luís Guilherme Cearense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jozef Hemeleers having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Cearense in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jozef Hemeleers saved Winksele 2016 from getting behind. After 69 minutes of play, Villa Verde FC's Luís Guilherme Cearense made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jozef Hemeleers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feng Chao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Söderqvist in the 75th minute of play. Răzvan Jităreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jozef Hemeleers having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Luís Guilherme Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Hemeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Winksele 2016's Quirin Brauer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feng Chao Wei. That made the score 5-1 after 83 minutes of play.
