Sofyane Valognes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofyane Valognes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Joe Herring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute of the match Benjamin Loth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Lodge skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Joe Herring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rathmore Lime Tree! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Valencia C.F.. Joe Herring stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sofyane Valognes. 0-5. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Pardon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Lance Fairfax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofyane Valognes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yves Robinet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavian Garcon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerry Lodge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Valencia C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Loth took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benjamin Loth got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerry Lodge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the match, Joe Herring dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sofyane Valognes, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Joe Herring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Joe Herring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Robinet in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes got control of the ball when Joe Herring tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rathmore Lime Tree's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joe Herring was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Valencia C.F.'s Ryan Plumber getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sofyane Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Fairfax in the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Lance Fairfax had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lance Fairfax was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Joe Herring took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. When Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rathmore Lime Tree's goalie prevented a goal. Yves Robinet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerry Lodge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Flavian Garcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jerry Lodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Joe Herring rounded Rathmore Lime Tree's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Herring in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofyane Valognes saved Rathmore Lime Tree from getting behind. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Cosson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valencia C.F.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
