Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 6th minute of play. Leonardo Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Herring's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Matorrales defense, Joe Herring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Loco. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Loco should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Matorrales getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rosendo Montel hit a great ball. Rosendo Montel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Joe Herring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leonardo Loco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Montel to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Rosendo Montel in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valencia C.F.'s Ricardo Arias. Leonardo Loco came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring. But to his dismay, Joe Herring quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Joe Herring took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Loco. Leonardo Loco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Anastasio Caton hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Leonardo Loco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joe Herring went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Atlético Matorrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Joe Herring sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Loco skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tadeo Quilino made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Herring. Oliver Bean hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Quilino in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Herring in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tadeo Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Atlético Matorrales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Quilino couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Herring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Bean kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Atlético Matorrales's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Joe Herring scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Loco, making the score, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Joe Herring took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Leonardo Loco to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco got control of the ball when Joe Herring tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Joe Herring notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco. Leonardo Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Valencia C.F. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
