The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Loth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Kilman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alix Geoffray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Christer Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. In the 41st minute, Henrik Möllgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Henrik Möllgren made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Möllgren in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alix Geoffray saved Rathmore Lime Tree from getting behind. Henrik Möllgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alix Geoffray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
