Nestor Quirino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dromes FC's Atilano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resul Erdemalp in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nestor Quirino made a huge save. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Lleir in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Lleir. With a little luck, América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino got control of the ball when Humberto Lleir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Resul Erdemalp in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Benat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Lleir. 28 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Lleir came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo Cordeiro tried in the game's 29th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Nestor Quirino. In the 40th minute Resul Erdemalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Lleir in the 45th minute of the match. Humberto Lleirs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Nestor Quirino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol was substituted for Resul Erdemalp. With a little luck, Dromes FC's Atilano Benat got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Gol in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Benat saved Dromes FC from getting behind. If Gabi Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gabi Gol came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Gol couldn't finish the play. If Lucas Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Marko in the 68th minute of the match. If Gabi Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute Gabi Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Atilano Benat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabi Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Gerardo Ferdinand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dromes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave América-SC F.C. the free kick. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dromes FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after América-SC F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Humberto Lleir took the corner. The corner ended in Humberto Lleir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino did a great save. Gabi Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Benat having to make a save. Atilano Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Gabi Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Atilano Benat throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gabi Gol in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Gol in the 93rd minute of play forced Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Marko struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nestor Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dromes FC. In the 96th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Faria to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Lleir's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the América-SC F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dromes FC.
