Jorge Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vintilă Murgu made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Ben Hur's Vintilă Murgu threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anselmo Lluis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ekber Merdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montrell Harrell having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Ben Hur's Vintilă Murgu threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anselmo Lluis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
