Union Madereros. Club Dep. Hilario Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bakker, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Union Madereros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Abaurre in the 43rd minute. The corner led Club Dep. Union Madereros's Ciro Abaurre to fire away a dangerous shot which Ged Nightingale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Union Madereros:s Hilario Faron showed great skill when he stopped Guy Hogg:s penalty. The excitement rose when Arrows Academy FC's Guy Hogg after 90 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Club Dep. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lynch didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cornelio Colas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 100 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ged Nightingale was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match was over Arrows Academy FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Dep. Union Madereros throughout the match.
